10/28 - New Ultra Light ceramic plates in production

We're very excited to announce that the 1st batch of our newest product - Ultra Light Level 3 & 4 are being made this week. These are made from silicon carbide (SIC) ceramics which offers the same NIJ protection level, but with significantly lower weight compared to alumina ceramics. 

Additionally, these plates will have a newer ceramic pattern which offers 20% more ceramic coverage than the standard plates (with only 1/4" foam edge around the ceramics). Effectively these offer the similar performance as Hesco 3810 & 4810 plates at 1/3 the cost.

We're continue to explore improvements to the products in the coming weeks to provide our customers the highest performing ballistic plates at reasonable prices.
