Hudi's Tactical Level 3A concealable t-shirt is made from UHMWPE fiber and designed to stop up to 44 Mag. It's flexible and conforms well to the wearers body and weighting only about 3lbs making this very comfortable to wear.
We tested the vest with 6 rounds of 9mm out of 16" carbine with zero penetrations. The bullets were stopped at the 7 or 8th out of 30 sheets sheet of the fabric. We also tested with 00 buckshots which didn't penetrate beyond 3rd sheet
The front & back inserts are removable, so the t-shirt can be easily washed while the ballistic panels can be wiped down. The insert varies with the size and ranges from 10x12 to 12x15. The back panel has a larger size to protect the neck.
Please note, these will only stop handgun rounds, for rifle protection please get the Level 3+ plate.
To select the right size, please get the size of a t-shirt that would be tight (usually 1 size smaller than regular). Do expect our product to be tight fitting, in order to keep the panels in place.
