Hudi's Tactical Level IIIA ballistic armor plates have a Multi-Curve profile, with a light weight of 1.2 pounds, they're extremely comfortable to wear, great for all day missions.

These plates were independently tested by NTS-Chesapeake (a NIJ approved lab) according to NIJ 0101.6 standard with 6 rounds of 44 Mag, with zero penetration. We also tested them with 10 rounds of 9mm from 16" carbine from 15" away, with zero penetrations. All rounds were captured within 1/3 of the thickness.

It has a waterproof polyester/nylon cover ensuring your plate will last its 5 year shelf life. Rated at Level lIIA this plate is capable of taking multiple pistol rounds.

Please note, these will only stop handgun rounds, for rifle protection please get the Level 3+ plate.

Lightweight, seems tough, low profile but

It's good, I like it. The only problem is the "multi-curve" needs to be WAY more aggressive. Specifically in the direction from ground to sky.
I bought these to replace level IV plates, yet these actually stick out as much or more.
It's a simple problem but makes a huge difference for covert armors.
